My name is Raymond Law. During the day, I am a software engineer at DCS Corporation working on the future combat system used by the government in battlefield simulation for 6 years. I develop and integrate software to perform soldier experiments to prepare them in warfare situations.

At night, I am a vivid Ruby on Rails fan and have learned all about it on my own time at night. I run a Ruby on Rails blog and host a hobby app on my server. I have also taken a job at OnMyList with 2 other developers to create a social website so our users can make lists about every part of their lives. I am also interested in social apps and have built two Facebook apps.

I am currently playing with OpenSocial – supported by MySpace, Orkut, Ning, and other social networks, and Substruct – a Ruby on Rails ecommerce platform.

I am also a huge sports fan, especially basketball and football. I am emotionally attached to Washington Wizards and Hokies football.
Other than technical and sporty stuff, I enjoy reading self-improvement and entrepreneurship books so I can gain inspiration and motivation.
