I tried to chat online to see if I qualified for the service and after they were very polite asking me for my address but after looking it up and seeing that I didn’t qualify they just ended the chat with an automatic message that the chat was ended, no goodbye or anything. Then I asked to chat again to complain and they were nice and apologetic until I said that apparently they don’t have service in my area at which point they immediately hung on me exactly the same way again!

It is rather tough to decide on the right supplier when it comes to broadband, yet coming from a few things i often see verizon fiosprovides a few fantastic marketing packages occurring now in case you are luck enough to have the service in your area.

You should cancel FiOS before you are locked into the 1-year commitment (they have a cancellation period right?). Comcast HSI has been okay for me, I found a customer service center in SF that very few people know about and their promotions are always decent, you just have to switch the account to your wife/gf once every 6 months or a year, even Comcast CSR recommended me to do that to get the better deal. DOCSIS 3 is delivering speed faster than FiOS these days.
